Overview

This indulgent cycle tour caters for the moderate to advanced cyclist with optional cycling distances scheduled to cater for each level of experience. This allows more time for sight seeing and enjoying the attractions of the Great Ocean Road for those that wish to immerse themselves in the region.

If youre not sure which classic tour to select, the Great Ocean Road is one for those that like longer days in the saddle.  The scenery is fantastic enough to take your mind off it!  Its also the busiest of our classic tours in terms of traffic, everyone wants to see the Great Ocean Road, however if youre not sure of the distance or traffic, try our Tasmania tours instead.

Tours depart from: Melbourne and finish in Melbourne.

Transfers: this trip is designed to offer cycling over the most scenic roads and views of the Great Ocean Road.  Whilst no transfers are included in the trip itinerary, the van is always around to transfer weary bodies and their bikes further along the road to reduce some of the distance.

Terrain: The Great Ocean Road is a very popular tourist destination. While there are several large hills, they are very rewarding and offer a great downhill afterward.  The roads we choose to ride on are all sealed.  The Great OCean Road is very busy, particularly on weekends (which is why we avoid the weekend), so care must be taken whilst sharing the road with motorists.
