Everyone can take part in the challenge from beginner through to the competitive rider. The aim is to complete as many laps in a 6 hour period as you can either as a solo rider or in a team of friends or work-mates. You can do one lap then change over to your next rider or do several before changing over to your next rider. It is up to you and your team. You can go as hard and fast as you like or take it at a slow relaxed pace and stop and start as often as you like. It’s all up to you.

If you have never been in a Teams Event before they are great fun. You form a team of friends or work-mates or if you would like to take part but cant form a team we can try to include you in a team or you can go it alone as a solo competitor. Laps are expected to be approx. 9 klm and take about 20 - 45 minutes to complete depending on your fitness then you change over to your next team mate or you can do a lap or a few laps and then change over. Its all up to your team and your team strategy.
The course is designed to suit all riders skill levels, not too hilly or technical but there will be some sections where there is two ways you can go, the easy way (usually the lower trail) or for the experienced rider something a bit more technical.
Solo rider or Relay Teams of 2, 3,or 4 Riders. You can do a lap and then swap over to your next team mate.
You can go as fast and hard as you like or at your own pace. Its all up to you. You can start and stop as often as you like. How you take on the Challenge is up to you.
Everyone is easy going and friendly so come along and have a great time.
You dont need to be an elite athlete or super fit to take part. As long as you can ride for 40 minutes and do a lap you can then swap over to your next team member while you rest, relax & have a good time with the rest of your team mates. Teams or 2, 3 or 4 riders. Enjoy the atmosphere, relax and camp with family & friends. Its the best weekend away for everyone. There is something special in competing and completing a 6 Hour. You can do as may laps or as few laps as you want.
6HR CHALLENGE is the ideal way to start getting your staff/work mates
involved and get the best of life/work balance. This is the most fun you will have at work!!! Put the Challenge out to other business in your industry and have some fun rivalry going on.
This is a popular distance for solo riders but you may like to take part with one or two mates and form a relay team either as a 2 person or 3 person team. or 4 person fun/newbies class for those new riders to the sport.
If you are new to mountain biking this is your ideal event to have some fun and meet heaps of other mountain bikers, test your skills and have a great day.

We have a fantastic venue for our race set in bush-land on a beautiful country property with creek crossings, rainforest sections & lots of green grassy space.
Camp in the Riders Village Area in a large mowed area right next to the course where you can be part of the action and watch your team mates finish their lap. So bring your marquees, chairs & everything you need to keep you comfortable.
Sorry No camping on Saturday night prior to event. or after racing has finished.
Food and drink will be during 6 hour as well as Jungle Bean with capuccinos, hot chocolates to keep you fueled up.
Toilets out on course - Busting to go while out riding we have toilets at our 3 marshal checkpoints porta-loos for your convenience.

GPS of Course on Google Maps - (Weekend Warrior Course - this will change slightly for the 24/6 Hour)
We have made improvements to the course with the the flat paddock taken out and 1.5km of new tracks have been made. The tracks have been extended along the creek. With more tracks being cut in and further developed.
The track length is just over 6km long with approx. 200metres of climbing per lap.
Riders times between 30 minutes and 1 hour
depending on the fitness and ability of the rider. Many riders like to take their own time in finishing their laps. The shorter laps means you are not waiting hours to go out to do your own lap and get much more involved in the action. You have the option of doing two or more laps before you change over to your team mate if you wish. The terrain is perfectly suited to our 24 hour with single track, switchbacks, fire roads, and flowing downhill sections but not too hilly or technical so everyone can enjoy it. You go as fast and hard as you wish or take it at your own pace with plenty of place for faster riders to pass.
