The 2012 Marysville Lake Mountain Challenge will offer two course options, both of which provide participants with the opportunity to tackle the grueling Lake Mountain climb. providing the perfect course for cyclists of all abilities.

There is a short course option of 35km with the option to add the 40km Lake Mountain climb to push your limits.

Those looking for the ultimate challenge can tackle the 120km Long Course with the option to add the Lake Mountain climb to make a 160km course. Both courses feature a combination of flat sections, rolling hills and challenging climbs perfectly designed to provide you with the chance to really test yourself.   

The ride passes through Buxton, Taggerty, Alexandra, Eildon, Thornton, Narbethong and Marysville.  Many of these towns were badly affected by the tragic Black Saturday bushfires. 

The event will provide many local community groups with a much needed opportunity to raise funds to support their recovery projects.  

The very successful Granite Grind will be held on Saturday 25th February, making a great weekend of cycling in Marysville.
