The Bike Buller MTB Festival brings all that is great about mountain biking to the one spectacular location for a massive weekend of riding, single track, bikes, fresh air and partying at a place that is renowned for good times.

The Bike Buller Mountain Bike Festival is a 2 day stage race at magical Mt Buller in Victoria’s high country that will see a range of the phenomenal events for all levels of rider taking place in an incredible alpine landscape. In fact the event will see some minor evolutions over previous years to make this renowned riding weekend even better – like heaps of new single track, a new brakeburner format and even more live music.

Events included as part of the weekend include:

• 25km cross-country (XC ) race: along the cranking single track in and around the Mt Buller Village and neighbouring Corn Hill
• 4hr Brakeburner Enuro – Mt Buller Descent: a 4hr mutli lap enduro down a flowing XC-downhill course where you catch the lift up as part of each 6km lap until your last lap when you are directed down the 1,100m Mt Buller Super-D Descent to the very bottom of the mountain - awesome! Suitable for XC bikes
• The Mt Buller Super D Descent: If the 4hr Brakeburner Enduro is not your thing then get your own dose of XC-downhill fun by doing the 1,100m vertical Mt Buller Super-D Descent. Starting in groups of 5 you’ll race from top to bottom on a blasting hoot of a trail and then get a bus back up to the village at th eend. Nice. Suitable for XC bikes
• 50km XC race: over Mt Stirling and back again on incredible new Glen Jacobs designed and built single track and flowing wilderness trails in a magical alpine setting
• 10km kids race: held on the single track around the village this is designed to gives kids a taste of the fun and enjoyment of mountain biking.

Do one race or do them all, riders of all abilities welcome to participate and enjoy the atmosphere.

• A party-till-you-drop rider’s celebration on Saturday night at the Cattlemans Cafe.

• Plenty of activities and things for non riders to do – bring the family.

• Round out the weekend with a casual BBQ and presentations on Sunday afternoon.

The Bike Buller MTB Festival is designed as a super fun mountain bike event for everyone; racers can race, recreational riders can enjoy the trails and the scenery, non riders can do their own thing and we can all get together to enjoy a good party on Saturday night. This is what riding is all about!
