Wilson HTM Brisbane to the Gold Coast Cycle Challenge

A Bicycle Queensland event, the Wilson HTM Brisbane to the Gold Coast Cycle Challenge is Queenslands biggest bike ride. The mass participation ride (its not a race) starts at South Bank and utilises the South East Busway to Eight Mile Plains and then travels through Eagleby, Logan, Beenleigh, Coomera and Helensvale, with a finish at Broadwater Parklands, Southport.

Participate in the 100km challenge and experience the thrill of 15km of traffic-free travel on Brisbane’s South-East Busway or opt for a 60km ride from Logan to the Gold Coast. You dont have to be a pro to enter, all you need is a bike (and helmet)!

In addition to Bicycle Queensland’s aim of increasing awareness of cycling, the event helps to raise vital funds for Diabetes Australia - Queensland and the Heart Foundation, both not-for-profit organisations who share in our objective of advocating a healthy, active lifestyle. Sign on to be an Everyday Hero.

Our goal for 2011 is to set a record with over 10,000 riders and raise over a quarter of a million dollars to aid Diabetes Australia - Queensland and the Heart Foundation in their work to improve the health of Queenslanders and save lives.
