The Breast Care Support Fund of East Gippsland was founded in July 2009 by six local East Gippsland women. After discussions with our local McGrath Foundation Breast Care Nurse, the decision was made to set up a fund that could support people who were going through all stages of Breast Cancer.
The small gifts that the fund have given so far range from facials to dinner vouchers to helping purchase a wig. We have also supported the local Waratah Dragon Threads Dragon Boat by purchasing their team shirts for them and we will continue to support them in anyway we can.
This is a fund overseen by local people for local people
