Cycle Queensland is a fully catered nine-day holiday on two wheels. The event is designed to let you have fun and enjoy your cycling. All your needs are taken care of by our team.
Our tent city has first aid, mechanics, bike shops, masseurs, a general store, tourist information, licensed café, toilets and hot showers. We serve up three generous meals a day and even transport your luggage.
All you have to do after a day on the bike is collect your bags and put up your tent. In the afternoons and evenings there is plenty to do and see: take a tour, party-on at the local inn or just chill out at the picturesque campsites.
** Participants under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult
** Children under 12 are not allowed to pilot their own bike
***Travel insurance and t-shirt not included
Late fee for entry after closing date of 6 August 2010: $90
See the printed entry form for a summary of everything but enter online for your chance to win one of five $200 vouchers from Ground Effect.
There are plenty of optional extras such as merchandise, transport, or accommodation.
Bicycle Queensland membership is great value at just $70 for an individual and $90 for a household.

See Camping & accommodation for the Easy Campese or Pheels Phantastic details and a list of local accommodation options.
You can get to the start and home again by road, rail or air. Scheduled services in combination with our charter services, specially arranged car parks and top shelf bike transport options make the journey hassle free. Take advantage of our home or depot bike services (now also available in Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne) so you dont have to worry about how to get your bike to the start. Have a look at the Transport page for some great travel and bike transport options.
How does big blue skies, warm sunny days and crisp clear nights sound? Thats what spring in the region usually delivers. Expect day time temps around the mid 20s.
Never been on CQ before? Come to an info night and get all the insider tips. Once youve signed up, take advantage of upcoming test rides and a free bike-fit session to get you ready for the big adventure. Go to You can do it! for more.
For those who feel that doing 570km in nine days just isnt quite enough…this year there is the chance to clock up almost 640km by doing a longer loop on Days 6 and 8. Conditions apply, including minimum average riding speed of 27kph.
Yes! You can do as little as 2 days but why not do the ride as four days from Yeppoon to Monto or the four days from Monto to Bundaberg. We have a mid-week charter bus to make it easier and we can take your bike up and look after it until you join us or vice versa. See the Short Ride Options info sheet.
After you enter youll receive a confirmation plus heaps of info to get your preparations started. Closer to the start date we send you The Guide with details of the route and all the activities on offer.
Each year Cycle Queensland participants raise thousands for various causes. Go to Fundraise for your favourite cause for more.
Volunteers are the people that keep the wheels of Cycle Queensland turning. Theres a role to suit just about everyone and its a great way to learn new skills, meet new people and have fun. Most volunteers are full time but part-time positions are available for those who also want to ride.
Full-time volunteers come on the event for FREE while part-timers get a substantial discount on entry fees. Go to Volunteering for more.
